Teen 2 has been considering cut off her long hair for some time now. Back in July she decided that she did want to cut it off but we both thought it a good idea to let the idea sit for a bit before the big cut.
Today was the day. With scissors in my hand I gave her one last option to change her mind.
Then in less than five minutes she was standing holding a long plat of her hair and remarking how light her entire head felt.

Now she can wear her hair down, not have to plat it for bed, school etc. It will be quick to wash (and not cost me a small fortune in conditioner etc) and not take three hours to dry. She can't wait to show it off at school next week and see if people recognise her with her hair loose and not in a long plat down her back...
Do you know anyone who wants to buy 19" of quality hair? she is keen on making a few dollars from it towards the car she is saving for.
